Do You Need Flight Insurance?
You’re getting ready to board the plan, and it hits you: What if something happens? While the possibility of an airline accident does exist, the odds are very low: Thousands of flights safely crisscross the country and the world every day. (In fact, you are statistically more likely to be involved in an auto accident than a car accident.)
Skip flight insurance offered when you purchase your tickets (or at the airport). Your life insurance policy should already provide accident or catastrophe coverage. If you are comfortable with your coverage, you won’t need more simply because you are about to board a plane.
