Foursquare’s New Small Business Feature Foursquare has just made a small tweak that will make the service much better for small businesses attempting to interact with customers via events. Starting today, location owners on the service can create their very own events that users can specifically check-into when they check-in to the location. For example, the local bookstore can now create a special event for a book signing they’re holding, or the local bar can create an event for the band that’s playing. Of course, Foursquare users have been able to check-in to specific movies at theaters and specific shows at concert venues for some time – it’s a good way to make your check-in most detailed.
